God, that's a lame title, sorry...-__-;;
Well, this pic is about 3 months old. I finished it back in July but never posted because there's guitarist-Kurogane to go along with this, and I only finished that one 2 days ago.  Fai, from Tsubasa Chronicle, as a vocalist in a rock band. o3o  The idea was stuck in my head ever since the Infinity arc started in the manga. All those black clothes, chains and stuff....a voice in the back of my mind screamed "They'd look so cool as a rockband....*drools*". Mmmyeah. Took me more time than it should have but part of the idea is finally done. The wings...are the sign of my weakness for wings. I stick them on every character's back. >.>;;; *hides* The Kurogane-keychain: well, at first I didn't think I would ever finish my other pic of guitarist-Kurogane, yet I wanted him to be featured somehow, so I stuck him as a mini-doll on Fai's hip...xD;;;; Media: 2B-7B lead pencil, touched up in Adobe Fai, Kuro-chan © CLAMP |

I think the wings actually adds onto Fai as a rock singer. Although he looks good even if he doesn't have them, it truly look better if there's the wings there. it make the composition filled up and interesting. ^^
Do you know how ROCKSTAR!FAI KEEPS ME UP AT NIGHT? *-* Seriously... I turn on my MP3, and I just go crazy trying to calm down and sleep. Gackt or Hyde or 30 Seconds to Mars comes on, and there goes my chance of ever getting sleep on time for school the next day. lmao.
And as you say, Infinity was just perfect for that. I always imagine him in those kind of clothes while he's singinggg. (doesn't help that I found a few more songs Daisuke Namikawa sings and the guy can HIT a lower voice range than I ever imagined.... ohgoshmelt)
So, this floored me when I clicked on it, because it's your kick-butt art + rocker!Fai, and that makes me whoop for joy. 83
(and I like the title; it's cute!)
Lovely art, and I'm loving the wings and the Kuro-plushy touch to the piece. Sogreat~. Eeeen.
